Welcome to #thingsilovethursday, a round-up of my favorite things from the week. In honor of Halloween I am making this a pumpkin edition, so I hope you’re not all pumpkined out! I try to include a few gluten free items and then a few other things that are awesome. These are not sponsored posts but there may be affiliate links, which help support this lil blog. This is stuff I truly love and I just like sharing the good stuff with all of you!
Nature’s Path Organic Pumpkin Spice Waffles – These waffles are delicious! I am a waffle addict. I pretty much eat them in varying brands/flavors every morning with peanut butter for some staying power. These are great this time of year (#allthingspumpkin). They have just enough “spice” and are not too sweet.
Barbara’s Puffins Limited Edition Pumpkin Cereal – I posted these on my Facebook page back in AUGUST. I can’t believe they were out in the stores that early…well, yes I can because everything is rushed anymore. You can get them here or the 3 pack here if you can’t find them in your store/want them delivered to your door. I love that’s made with real pumpkin and has only 5g sugar in each serving (because who eats 1 serving of cereal?!) JUST BE CAREFUL…not all Barbara’s cereals are gluten free! I made that mistake in my early days of going gluten free 🙁 Darn you, Peanut Butter Puffins!
Pumpkin Noosa Yoghurt – This stuff tastes like pumpkin cheesecake but with way fewer calories. It’s definitely like a dessert. I try to portion a container into 2 servings like they suggest, but buying the pre-portioned 4-pack is a lot easier. I love to shake up the 4 oz. one (to mix) and then pop it in the freezer.
Bath & Body Works Caramel Pumpkin Swirl Candle – Yes I am raving about yet another candle. This one is now my new fave. It was a gift from a friend. We get each other pumpkin scented candles of some sort each year for our birthdays. There’s just something about the warm glow of a candle and the house smelling like freshly baked goods, especially this time of year.
Our Jack-o-Lanterns – It’s a tradition for my son and husband to carve pumpkins every year. It’s not really my thing since I’d rather decorate them in some other way. Even though it’s not as creative as I like to be I painted a craft store pumpkin teal this year so we could reuse it for the Teal Pumpkin Project. I did contribute to the evening by drawing the face of the pumpkin so my husband didn’t have to stencil it. He also did a Flash pumpkin which turned out cool too!
CJ’s Artwork – It seriously melts my heart how far he has come in a year with his ability and interest in drawing. Artwork that’s just for me is the best part!
So, tell me…what are YOU loving? Post in the comments below!
